from freezer to fire

Busy day yesterday. I didn't even have time to post. We were out at a family birthday celebration. And I didn't plan at all for lunches this week...digging at the back of the freezer for frozen cookies and pulling canned corn out of the cupboards!
Ryan's lunch: roasted potatoes w/ketchup; rolls of smoked Tofurky & soy cheese; carrot & celery sticks; chocolate chip cookies; corn.

It was Ryan's first time
"playing with fire" over
the weekend. Isn't it just
one of those necessary
experiences of childhood
that nowaday often get
overlooked? I always
enjoyed it.

Looks delicious for an unplanned meal! :D

You asked me awhile ago and I have failed to respond about how long food color markers last me: the answer is about 5-6 months. I run through blue faster than anything else but save all the ones from previous sets that are still good and use the yellows a lot for mixing colors when they start to go south.

Oooh, good idea about mixing with yellow...I rarely use food markers, but if mine do ever dry out and I buy more I'll remember that! Thanks!
